Meet our team!
Hi! My name is Brent, I’m 16 and I’m from Hong Kong. I’m the founder of the Scholar’s Cornucopia.
When I first joined WSC as a way to bolster my academics, I had no idea that WSC would turn out to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I made mock questions and prompts for fun, shared them with my friends, and eventually realised that I could share my resources with you as well! So I truly hope that my stuff helps you excel and make the most of WSC.
Fun fact: Across 7 rounds, my median Art & Music subject placement is 1st!
Accolades:
Hi fellow scholars! I’m your local alpaca, and I’ll be contributing to the challenge sections of the Scholar’s Cornucopia.
While I started off in WSC persuaded by my friends to join, I eventually found myself in a community far wider and kinder than I could ever have imagined. With all the resources on the internet, I decided I would help with just one of them— because if just one scholar does because of these resources, then it has been worth the time spent.
Fun fact: I topped more subjects than I golded in writing
Some "credentials" (the good ones at least!)
Hi! My name is Leanna, I’m 15 and from Hong Kong. As my school delegation’s most persistent gambler (specialising both in debate and writing), I never would have imagined how profoundly WSC would change my life. If I’m not hopelessly cramming for the challenge or some other wildly obscure topic, you’d probably find me plotting my next writing prompt with some of my teammates. This culminated into my love for creating WSC writing questions, which I can now share with all of you!
A few of my favourite results:
Hi, I’m Q1BL1Y8M, aged 15 and from Hong Kong. I assist with creating challenge and bowl questions and producing event guides and curriculum summaries.
When starting my journey in this quirky little extracurricular activity, I had no idea it would change my life forever. From bolstering my confidence in public speaking to helping me make friendships with genuinely amazing people, joining this weird alpaca-themed competition was the best decision I ever made. I hope that by helping scholars just beginning an incredible journey or battle(lust)-hardened veterans will too help you achieve your dreams and reimagine your present, among other things.
Fun fact: My team placed 3rd overall at ToC 2025 despite none of us placing in Collabowriting.
Accolades:
You can find me on the Cornucopia Discord server.
3-year Challenge main. Will probably be making syllabus content behind the scenes. I also dabble in writing prompts once in a while. Consistently placed in top 10 challenge for globals, ToC and regionals throughout my career. I joined Cornucopia to preach the gospel of WSC.
Hello :) I’m mlam, aged 16 from Hong Kong and will be assisting with quizzes and challenge/bowl related things!
As a challenge main, I love to spend my time delving into niche rabbit holes in the syllabus and writing absurdly detailed notes. This year will be my 3rd year joining WSC, and online resources have helped me loads in previous years. Therefore, I hope by helping make resources I could help fellow scholars in the same way and contribute to this community which truly holds a special place in my heart.
Accolades:
Hi, I'm Quentin and I am 16 and from Hong Kong. I think WSC has changed how I view learning and myself as a whole via its fascinating topics and experience of their rounds. I think this community is an unique one and I hope to be a part and participate in it.
Unfortunately, I am a retired scholar so I will be in charge of participating on edits within the discord server. :D
Not everyone that has contributed to the Cornucopia is listed here, so a big thanks to them as well.
If you’d like to contact us for any reason, please don’t hesitate to email us at contact@scholarscornucopia.org, or DM me (@alpaca314159) on Discord!
